Help us keep Little Eaton tidy and protect our environment!

The Parish Council is running a competition for young people to design posters that will show how important it is not to drop litter, and also to clean up after your dog. We'll put the best posters up all around the village!

What do you think is the best way to get your poster's message across and reduce the amount of litter and dog mess in our village? Demonstrating the impact on nature? Showing how abandoned waste affects other people? Explaining how easy it is to tidy up after yourself and put your rubbish in the bin or take it home?

We are looking forward to seeing your ideas. Please put your design on A4 paper using any medium you like, paint, crayon, pencil, collage or anything! Posters should be on the A4 poster document that can be downloaded from the Parish council website www.littleeatonparishcouncil.org.uk so that these can be scanned easily and printed. Entries need to be handed into Little Eaton primary School by Friday 21st May for your chance to win a prize. Please include your name, age and contact details.

The competition is open to all local children and there will be three age categories for the poster competition: 4-6, 7-9 and 10- 11.Entries will be judged by Members of Little Eaton Parish Council. Both the winning and runner-up entries in each category will be reproduced and displayed around the village as a reminder to residents and visitors about the importance of looking after our community.
